Karolína Muchová Out of Canadian Open Following Minor Surgery

World No. 6 Karolína Muchová will be sidelined for a “few weeks” after undergoing a minor medical procedure, forcing her to withdraw from the upcoming Canadian Open in Toronto (starting August 1).

The announcement comes shortly after the 29-year-old Czech reached her second career Grand Slam final at Wimbledon, where she was runner-up to compatriot Linda Nosková in a dramatic three-set match.
